TheWall Street Journal looks to health care innovators that share the goal of lowering medical costs with the yet to be named Amazon.com Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Berkshire Hathaway health care company. These innovative start-ups stand to benefit from the venture.
The Journal reveals that the venture will initially focus on improving the use of health care middlemen. VillageMD is named as a startup with the "tools and services that enable the new entity to function without the middlemen," and an organization that provides "new models for delivering medical care."
